Production Manager: JOS1691 - WI
Starting base salary: $90-120K 
 
Summary
Plans, leads, coordinates and directs activities of production and maintenance team members to achieve established goals and objectives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Creates and supports a culture of engagement, empowerment, teamwork, mutual respect and continuous improvement through leading and driving for results. Maintains open communication between all departments while providing leadership and coaching across the organization. The Production Manager will be responsible for managing workflow, ensuring all production, quality and safety metrics are met.
 
Education / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering
Previous experience in a fast-paced team-based environment.
Ten years' experience in a custom wood production environment.
Knowledge, experience, proven successes in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
Five years of previous production management experience in a wood processing atmosphere.
 
Responsibilities
Managing production & Maintenance staff of 70-80 workers while driving accountability and performance
Create and maintain organizational standards in Safety, Quality, Inventory, Delivery, Cost and more
Drives continuous improvement through the use of measures and metrics
Communication strengths at all levels of an organization
