Maintenance Superintendent – Fort St. James, B.C.

This is an exciting full-time, permanent career opportunity for a Superintendent level candidate with substantial maintenance experience, in a manufacturing environment, who is able to bring out the best in people and who has a keen appetite for career development and for personal growth and achievement.  The position is based in the Fort St. James, BC area and requires relocation.  Relocation assistance is being offered.

  • Have been responsible for the safe and efficient planning, organizing and operation of all aspects of the maintenance department
  • Have been responsible for developing and supporting the maintenance supervisors, lead hands, trades employees and contractors
  • Have experience participating in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and capital planning, as it relates to the maintenance of the plant

  • Are legally authorized to work in Canada (Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status)
  • Are a qualified tradesperson or engineer with knowledge of other related trades
  • Have a relentless commitment to safety as well as the capability to create, articulate and garner broad support for a vision
  • Are proficient with Microsoft office and CMMS systems
  • Are proficient in the English language (oral and written)
