Woodlands Manager (Management & Executives)

Our client, located in Newfoundland, has an immediate opportunity for a  Woodlands Manager  to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the environment, quality and the safety performance of the company.
• Supervise preparation of annual budgets.
• Verify that operating costs are within budget
• Provide direction to staff on transactions with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Regularly review reports related to quality.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Certified Forester or Forest Engineer
• 10-15 years of work experience in the Woodlands industry
• Progressive supervisory and management experience
• Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and lead a large team
• Ability to assess and make decisions in urgent and demanding situations
• Proficient use of computers (i.e. Microsoft Office)
