Winter Lift Nursery Workers (Silviculture & Reforestation)

Arbutus Grove Nursery in North Saanich is harvesting seedlings to be planted in the forest for reforestation. We are looking for people to join our team:

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Monday to Friday 10:30am to 7:00pm

Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 7:00pm

or

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm

During the winter lift we take a break between Dec 22 and Jan 1st, returning Thursday January 2nd until we are done (approx. end of January).

PAY:

No Experience/Starting wage at $14.60/hr

TRANSPORTATION:

Own transport/carpool recommended as buses do not run very accommodating times for the 7am or 4pm start times.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to stand for long periods

Willingness to co-operate with others

A positive attitude generally and toward work; good interpersonal skills, respectful behavior, willingness to follow directions; positive work ethic; and a desire to produce quality products

Understand and follow company safe work procedures

Ability to follow proper crop handling procedures

Demonstrated ability and willingness to participate in company Safe work rotations
