About the Position

Mason, Bruce & Girard is currently seeking a Utility Forester to be based out of our Auburn, CA office. Responsibilities could include any of the following: planning and supervising vegetation management projects around utility infrastructure, tracking and managing wood flow from utility clearing projects, and planning for and monitoring forest practice rule compliance for vegetation management projects. The position requires travel throughout northern and central California with frequent overnight stays. Work is completed in both a field and office environment and requires traversing rugged terrain often in inclement weather.

About You

In order to excel at the Utility Forester position, you should possess the following skills, experience, and background:

  • BS in forestry or closely related field
  • At least 6 months of fieldwork experience
  • Valid driver’s license and your own 4x4 transportation
