JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Tree Care including pruning, removal and cabling.
• Operate specialized equipment including aerial buckets, trucks, chippers, chain saws and tree climbing equipment.
• Operate small motorized tools such as chainsaws, brush chippers and pruners.
• Inspect, trim, prune, remove and perform surgery on trees and shrubs both from the ground and aloft.
• Plant trees using hand tools including shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows.
• Ensures all tools/equipment maintained in a good operating condition.
• Perform maintenance and washe trucks, trailers and tools.
• Clean job sites.
• Represent Arborcorp in a professional, courteous and respectful manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tree climbing experience Certificate or diploma in Urban Forestry/Arboriculture (or equivalent experience.)
• Physically fit and able to work in varying climate conditions.
• Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Able to work varying schedules including weekends
• A valid driver’s license, preferably D or A with a Z endorsement
