Scott and Stewart Forestry Consultants is looking for new team members to assist in at our tree nursery. If you have a passion for plants it is a great place to learn all that goes into growing everything from reforestation trees, environmental restoration projects, agricultural crops, and home consumer fruit trees and shrubs!

Responsibilities:

Prepare soil; plant, seeds and cuttings; and transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings Monitor plants for healthy growth and potential weed, insect, disease, and fertilizer problems in greenhouse crops Dig, cut and transplant trees, shrubs, and plants and prepare them for shipping May operate tractors and other machinery and equipment Maintain a clean working area.

Qualifications: All required training will be provided Strong Communication Skills Ability to work alone or in a group environment Attention to detail Interest in working outdoors and a passion for plants!

Experience with nursery stock, forklifts and tractors considered an asset - but not required.

Estimated 40 hours per week - in outdoor working conditions.
