Our Prince George and Dawson Creek locations are currently looking to secure employees for work starting in May 2020.  We will have seasonal and permanent full time positions available.

Seasonal Field Staff are involved in a variety of field-related activities, including: timber cruising, compassing, layout assistant, riparian assessments, silviculture assistant, and surveying assistant.

Qualifications for this summer position include:

·         Preference will be given to students in a Natural Resource discipline or related area of study.

·         Must have the ability and ambition to work outdoors in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

·         Must be willing and able to work in remote camp locations.

·         Must be well organized, and have the ability to work comfortably in a crew environment.

Full Time Field Staff  are involved in all phases of a project including timber reconnaissance, block and road layout, GPS traversing, painting boundaries, SP field collection, cruising and compassing. 

Qualifications for this full time position include:

·         A Post-secondary degree or diploma in forestry or other natural resource related fields is not mandatory but is considered an asset.

·         Must have the ability and ambition to work outdoors in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

·         Must be willing and able to work in remote camp locations.

·         Must be well organized, and have the ability to work comfortably in a crew environment.

·         Good communication skills and supervisory experience an asset

·         A valid driver’s license

Summer Forestry Engineering Assistant/Field Staff (Prince George) 

This position will aid in the survey and design of forestry roads and bridges, as well as additional engineering work. This position will be expected to fall into a more traditional forestry field position (layout/cruising) whenever needed. All experience listed above for field staff will be considered an asset, as well as educational/hands on engineering experience.
