Qualifications
- Prior experience as a supervisor in a softwood lumber sawmill
- Broad maintenance experience in a sawmill environment
- Extensive background in safety
- Quality-control experience
- Excellent team-building and motivational skills
- Understanding of accounting and financial metrics for a sawmill operation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills
Other requirements include:
- SPIB or TPI Grading Certification would be a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
