JOB DESCRIPTION:
Columbia Cedar has current job openings to fill in production. Local cedar sawmill, responsibly harvests, mills, and manufactures select, tight-knot western red cedar building products, is now hiring laborer positions. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in an industrial sawmill environment
- Able to pull lengths of lumber from a continuously moving belt & stacking lumber by size 
- Able to perform duties to maintain a clean & organized work environment
- Ability to train on various aspects of sawmill & planer manufacturing processes
- Ensure safe work practices & follow safety procedures
- Able to work out of-doors in hot/cold environments
- Dependable, reliable with good attendance record 
- Must pass a pre-employment urinalysis drug screen, testing for a panel of 6 drugs including marijuana

HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:
40+ hours a week
Day Shift. Monday -Friday. Some possible Saturday work.

WAGE / SALARY/BENEFITS:
$14.50 per hour to start, $16.50 after successful 60 day probationary period
