West Fraser is seeking a person for our Mansfield mill with proven organization, planning and communication skills be a part of the team responsible for procuring and harvesting timber products for West Fraser mills and other markets. Experience in timber cruising, timber appraisals, BMP and SFI implementation is a must.  The successful candidate must also be able to effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences including co-workers, management, logging contractors, landowners and customers.

Requirements:

• Must have a 4-year degree in Forestry
• A minimum of 5 years of procurement and or harvest experience is preferred
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be competent and qualified to conduct timber cruising, timber appraisals, SFI auditing and be able to ensure compliance with all appropriate best management practices
• Willing to take a higher level of responsibility or a position of leadership

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
