TRINITY Environmental is now hiring for a Natural Resources/Forester Technician in the Fort Rucker, AL area.  Come work for a growing company with flexibility and great benefits!

 

Job Description: On a daily basis, the technician will be in a forestry management environment and shall be required to perform supporting field duties to include prescribed burning, wildlife trapping, forestry cruising, wildlife surveys, forest inventory, and operating equipment associated with these tasks as well as other natural resources management operations.  Some of the equipment used: Dump truck, road grader, farm tractors, doziers, atv/utv, boat and air boat.

Required Skills:  Class A CDL (preferred-must be able to obtain), AL boat operator’s license (preferred-must be able to obtain), commercial pesticide license (preferred –must be able to obtain)

Minimum Experience Requirement: 3 + years preferred.

Minimum Education Level Required:  Degree in Wildlife Biology/Forestry Preferred

Security Clearance Requirement:  Must be able to pass background check

Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.

Current 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour updates are required.  Can be obtained within the first 60 days of hire.

Company Physical and “Fit for Duty” statement is required.

Drug screening is required.

Pass Background check is required.

Certification in field of expertise preferred.

Other national, regional, state, and local environmental related certifications requiring experience and written examination preferred.

Compensation

$15 - $17 per hour depending on experience
