Responsibilities

This Millwright position will support the mill operation. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, safety conscious and able to work as a team with both maintenance and production employees.

Qualifications

  • Welding equipment experience required.
  • Successful completion of a federally-approved Millwright Apprenticeship program or has the Journeyman equivalent skill level with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical field.
  • Requires welding experience in Arc, TIG, and wire feed, either OJT or schooling. Certification preferred.
  • Must possess or be willing and capable of learning and utilizing secondary maintenance skills such as pipefitting and machinist.
  • Experience with equipment associated with a pulp and paperboard operations such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors, etc.
  • Mechanical experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • Willing and able to use all skills in a true teamwork environment in order to safely accomplish work with minimal supervision.
