Mill Production Laborer (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Include but not limited to:
  • Sweeping, shoveling, and cleaning
  • Inspection of equipment and product
  • Feed boards into a board feeder at waist height and slide boards onto feed table
  • Complete a variety of paperwork and other related documentations
  • Climb a variety of ladders and stairs throughout the mill
  • Operate forklifts, front end loaders, skid steer loaders and manlifts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, use a tape measure and perform basic math
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 pounds
• Willing to work at great heights and in extreme conditions
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must have a good attendance and safety record
• Motivated self-starter
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills who wishes to advance in our organization
