Management Forester (Forester)

Sizemore & Sizemore, Inc. is looking for an experienced forester to assist with forest management activities, field work and all aspects of consulting forestry across central Alabama. Duties may include the following: timber inventory and appraisal, providing assistance to landowners, prescribed burning, timber sale preparation, timber harvest inspection and GIS mapping. Particular duties will vary with level of skill and previous experience. Applicants must be able to work long hours in all types of weather conditions. Willingness to travel when necessary to meet project deadlines.  

Bachelors degree from an accredited forestry program. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
