| Position Summary & Duties: |
The Maintenance Superintendent is a direct-hire position working for a sawmill client in Central Louisiana.
The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for the maintenance of the entire sawmill, and will manage more than 100 employees. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for preparing the maintenance and capital budgets for the facility. The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for planing and prioritizing daily and long-range schedules.

| Qualifications: |
Maintenance Superintendent Education and/or Experience:
- Maintenance Superintendent should possess 10+ years of maintenance experience in a sawmill or refinery
- Prior experience successfully managing a large workforce of mill or refinery employees
- Proficient electrical / electronic, mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
- Maintenance Superintendent should have the ability to read and evaluate electrical, mechanical blueprints and
hydraulic schematics
- Proficient in PLC programming and trouble shooting
- Maintenance Superintendent should be proficient in electrical, PLC controls and hydraulics
- Knowledge of the operation of wood fired boilers
- Proven ability to manage a preventative and predictive maintenance program |
