At Richmond Terminal, we are looking for a hardworking individual to join our team as a Lumber Tallyman. As a Lumber Tallyman you will primarily work on the loading dock scanning and taking inventory of lumber shipments. At times, you will be required to provide additional support by assisting in the loading and repackaging of shipments.

Language:  English
Minimum Education:  High School

As a Lumber Tallyman, you will be:

• Scanning outgoing shipments

• Reviewing documents/shipping slips to ensure they are correct

• Providing support with loading and the repackaging of lumber packages

• Completing other tasks as required

Qualifications: 

• Be a team player and willing to support your team members • Have excellent oral communication skills

• Be highly organized

• Be flexible and willing to provide support outside of your core working hours (OT provided)

• Although not a requirement, being bilingual (English/Chinese) is considered an asset

• Although not a requirement, having logistics experience is considered an asset

Working Conditions: 

• Long periods of standing and walking

• Regular bending and lifting up to 20 lbs
