Join the momentum. We are seeking a Consultant for our growing Forestry team. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Performance Expectations

  • Direct participation in program management related to forestry programs delivered by FRIAA;
  • Supporting government, industry, academic and contractor stakeholders in the delivery of forestry funding programs;
  • Tracking forestry related project activities such as reforestation, forestry improvment and other spceialized projects;
  • Collaborate and coordinate with team to align project resources and activities to project work plans; ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Complete client management support activities including project status updates and project reporting
  • Communicate external findings and make recommendations to senior executives and Boards
  • Support the growth and evolution of the consulting practice with an emphasis on the forestry industry

Credentials

  • Minimum of 2 years of forestry or natural resource experience; relevant work experience would include at least one forestry discipline such as silviculture, operations, forest management, integrated resource management, wildfire management or other
  • RPF or RPFT designation is preferred
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Work at client locations and periodic travel may be required
