Industrial Electrician Summary

In operation since 1982, Superior Hardwoods is one of the largest sawmills in Indiana. This facility utilizes some of the latest innovations in lumber sorting and optimizing technology to ensure that our clients receive consistent quality hardwood. In 2017, Superior Hardwoods became a location of Baillie Lumber Co. 

We are currently seeking an Industrial Electrician.  This is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.  The position will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment.

Industrial Electrician Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for program changes and installations or updates to maintain proper operations of the manufacturing facility
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and control systems
• Assist maintenance personnel during installation or modification of technological equipment

Industrial Electrician Qualifications:

• A 2 year degree/certificate in an affiliated program preferred
• Knowledge of accurate PLC troubleshooting
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting
