Grapple Yarder Operator (Forestry, Logging & Mill Operations)

The Lemare Group is currently seeking a Grapple Yarder Operator, this postion is year round, camp based shift work. Port McNeill is located, approximately 200km north of Campbell River, on Northern Vancouver Island.

With over 20 years’ experience in the logging and road building industry, Lemare is the largest logging contractor on Northern Vancouver Island, with continued success, we now require an experienced Grapple Yarder Operator to join our team.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

*Must be experienced in BC Coastal Terrain

*Must have experience operating Madill Yarders: 144 and 044 (Double Mains)

*Strong Communications and Leadership skills

*Must be reliable and safety oriented

*Must have a valid class 5 Drivers License

*First Aid Ticket an asset

Compensation

This position is a union based rate with full benefits , plus signing bonus based on experience
