Skill Requirements:

We are a stable lumber mill offering full time employment looking for a Qualified Forklift Operator with 3- 5 years lumber experience on a 23,000 lbs machine or higher. 

Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification

Experience: Must have forklift experience

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Lumber / forestry industry

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Strapping machines, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills:

• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment,
• Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products,
• Wrap goods,
• Sort goods,
• Stack goods

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Confined spaces, Dusty.

Transportation/Travel Information: Must have own vehicle, public transportation not available. 

Essential Skills: Working with others, Job task planning and organizing
