THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of our student recruitment program, we are seeking Environmental Summer Students (4 month term) and Environmental Interns (4-16 month terms) based out of our Calgary and Edmonton offices.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
- Assist with field work relating to vegetation management, reclamation, ESAs, groundwater monitoring, and soil and groundwater remediation projects.
- Assist with work plans and cost estimates, and summarize soil and groundwater data for review.
- Participate in field-based projects (primarily in Alberta and Saskatchewan).
YOUR PROFILE
- Enrolled in a college or university program related to the environmental field.
- Eligible for membership as a Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.), Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Professional Geologist or Hydrogeologist (P.Geol.), Professional Biologist (P.Biol.), Professional Forester (RPF), or other relevant professional association.
- Experience driving a 4×4 truck and an agricultural background are considered assets; however, not required.
- An enthusiastic attitude, ability to multi-task, and a passion for consistently delivering outstanding work.
