POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports long-term growth in sales and profits by developing and implementing forward-looking marketing strategies and programs. Responsible for studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; and monitoring the competition. Enhances the Company’s name awareness with existing and potential customers to support and ensure long-term growth in sales and profits.
MAJOR TASKS:
- Development and execution of long term a strategic marketing plans.
- Manage and coordinate companywide internal marketing program to support culture improvement.
- Manage the annual marketing budget for maximum efficiency and ROI.
- Plan and manage public relations and social media strategies.
- Manage all aspects of the company’s relationship with marketing partners.
- Plan and manage our companywide strategies and communications around our environmental leadership efforts.
- Supports market share growth by developing partnerships and joint marketing strategies with key customers.
- Determines and manages Company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade shows, and seminars.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 to 7 years strategic marketing management experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing or related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and experiece.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Record of accomplishment in creativity and in marketing related activities.
- Proven ability to manage all types of marketing communications: web based PR, social media, video, and all forms of advertising.
- Experience in managing an ad agency and a marketing budget.
- Experience with developing creative sales support initiatives.
- A proven team player.
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to use all Microsoft Office Products and preferably design software
