Accounting Assistant (Accounting & Finance)

Our company is looking for a reliable, organized and enthusiastic person to fill this  full time  position.

Reporting to the Controller, at the start you will be responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable process while performing reception duties and backup for USW Payroll.

Accounting Assistant  role is expected to evolve into Payroll Specialist position with some of the original duties remaining within a year.

Your experience should include minimum 10 years of business administration (AP, Payroll, Accounting) and excellent working knowledge of Excel (and other MS Office products).

Preference will be given to candidates with logging industry and USW environment experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established logging company in its newly opened office in downtown Campbell River.
