TFT is opening a field office based in Warsaw, Poland, and is currently seeking to recruit a full time
Senior Forester
to support its Charcoal, P&P and wood programs.
The role is to undertake the current workload in Eastern Europe, implementing traceability systems in charcoal, wood and pulp and paper factories. It will also initially entail the set up of the Warsaw office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform the charcoal, wood and pulp & paper factory visits
- Implement the CCS (charcoal control system) in factories in Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Liaise with the Swiss, UK and French offices to develop new members
- Ensure coordination with the project managers of each programme
- Be the TFT key contact for Eastern Europe and run the Warsaw office
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
· Very strong values of honesty and respect for people and environment
· Senior forester with at least 5 years of experience
· Organized, self managed
· Independent, able to take initiatives
· Fluent English and Russian needed, both written and spoken
